Hello Very Special Readers! I’m popping by to wish a very happy 40th birthday to our beloved Murder, She Wrote! Recently, I learned that our dear Angela Lansbury released a home workout/lifestyle fitness VHS back in 1988 so my podcast co-host, Hallie, and I decided to check it out. Spoiler alert: it turned out to be an incredibly life affirming experience. After the workout, Angela takes us on a tour of her home in Brentwood! Along the way she offers sage tips for living a balanced and joyful life. You can listen to our episode here:
And checkout the full “Angela Lansbury’s Positive Moves” on Youtube here:
Finally, be sure to head over to Silver Screen Supers for the recipe for Angie’s Power Loaf that you see in the video.
Looking for more ways to celebrate the 40th Anniversary? Check out these great posts from the Cabot Cove Blogathon by 18 Cinema Lane!

What a great addition to the blogathon! I’m honored Cabot Cove-thon was an inspiration for a Forgotten Film Club bonus episode! After watching ‘Positive Moves’ and reflecting on ‘Murder, She Wrote’, I realize what makes these pieces of media endearing is how timeless they are. No matter what time of year it is, let alone what decade it is, there is something about each program that breaks free from the boundaries of time. Providing content that makes viewers want to revisit these programs also helps. Thank you for participating in Cabot Cove-thon! I’ve added your entry to the official participant post.
How fun is it that Angela did a fitness video?
Working out now with Angela!
